Estimating the cost of your items

1)        Total Cost of your items
All websites shows you the total cost of your items. You can also add the items to your cart on the website to get the total cost. Note that if you are ordering more
than one item, you need to multiply the cost of each by the quantity.

So lets assume you have an item costing $100 selected.

3)        Shipping Cost to Our US Ware House
Determine the shipping cost from the US website to our warehouse. Normally it’s a fixed cost to ship anywhere within the US for a given item from a website. The
website will normally have the shipping cost for your item. If not sure, use $8 as an estimate, as that seems to be a good average value.

Say a shipping cost of $7. Adding this shipping cost gives us a new total of $100 + $7 = $107

2)        Add our processing fee
We charge a percentage of the total cost of your items as a processing fee. The processing fee is to cover costs such as wire transfer and our operating costs. See
our processing fees in the table below.

Since the cost of delivery to our warehouse is $107, and say the processing fee is 13%, then the total plus the processing fee is $107 x 1.13 = $120.91

4)        Shipping cost to our Nigerian office.
Determine the cost to ship from US to our Nigerian office. We charge from $3.59 to $3.99/pound for this. If the website has the weight of the item, multiply this
weight in pounds by $3.99 to get the shipping cost. If you are not sure of the weight, click here to see the shipping cost of commonly purchased items. Most
websites will however list the weight of the item under its description. NOTE: There is a $20 minimum shipping charge for items less than 5 pounds.

So for an 6 pound item the shipping cost is 6 x $3.99 = $23.94, and the total estimate to have this delivered to our Lagos office now becomes $120.91 + $23.94 or
$144.85

If the item was 2 pound (or anything less than 5 pounds), the shipping cost is fixed at $20, and total cost will be $120.91 + $20 or $140.91
